Shipping policy

At Ooh La V®, we want to get your goodies to you as quickly (and stress-free) as possible. Below is an indication of delivery times. Please note that these delivery timeframes are indicative only, and may change based on your specific location. Here’s the lowdown: 

Shipping Within New Zealand

Please select Rural Delivery if your address is classified as rural. Orders may be held if incorrect shipping is selected.

  • Orders are processed within 1–2 business days.

  • Standard shipping: 2–5 business days after dispatch.

  • Rural delivery may take an extra 2–3 business days.

  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout.

  • Free shipping in NZ and AU for all orders over $200.

International Shipping

  • At this stage we ship to Australia only. As our brand grows we will review extending to other overseas markets. 

  • Delivery times vary based on the selected shipping method and the destination (generally 7–14 business days).

  • Customs, duties, and local taxes (if any) are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Free shipping in NZ and AU for all orders over $200.

Please note we are unable to deliver to PO Boxes, all orders must be a street address

We endeavour to make sure that all products listed on our Site are currently in stock and pricing is true and correct. In the event that an ordered item is not available or we are unable to fulfil your order we will notify you within 2 business days to arrange an agreeable alternative item, a backorder or a full refund.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking number so you can follow your meno-magic all the way to your door. The delivery is not signature required.

Delays

We’ll always do our best to get your order to you on time. However, Ooh La V® isn’t responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs, or events outside our control (hello, global shipping chaos!). There may be delays during sale periods and public holidays. We do not dispatch orders on public holidays.

We are unable to refund your shipping costs if your shipping is delayed for circumstances outside of our control such as missed delivery, redelivery, or issues with the way your address has been listed. Please ensure your shipping address is correct at the time of placing your order, as we’re unable to redirect orders.

Missing or Damaged Orders

If your order arrives damaged, or if it hasn’t shown up after the expected timeframe, please contact us at info@oohlav.co.nz within 7 days of delivery so we can sort it out quickly.

Shipping Address Accuracy

Please ensure all delivery details are entered correctly at checkout, including street number, street name, suburb, and postcode. If an incorrect address is supplied:
- We are unable to guarantee replacement or refund of the order
- If the parcel is returned to us in its original condition we can arrange redelivery at the customers expense
- If the parcel is lost in transit due to an incorrect address it will then be the responsibility of the customer to place a new order
If you notice an error in your shipping details please contact us as soon as possible info@oolav.co.nz - we will do our best to help before your order is dispatched.
We’re a small (but mighty) business and always aim to support our customers wherever we can. While exceptions may occasionally be made at our discretion, we recommend double-checking your details to avoid any delivery issues.
